Dashboard¶
The Dashboard is your fitness command center — a single screen that shows today's stats, sleep analysis, Body Battery, stress levels, and recent activity at a glance.
Overview¶
When you log in, the Dashboard is the first thing you see. It's organized into cards that display your key metrics.
Data from Garmin
All Dashboard data comes from your synced Garmin data. If a card shows no data, make sure you've connected and synced your Garmin account.
Dashboard Cards¶
Today's Summary¶
A grid showing your current day's key metrics:
- Steps — Total step count for today
- Calories — Total calories burned
- Distance — Distance covered (in kilometers)
- Sleep — Hours of sleep last night
Body Battery¶
Garmin's proprietary energy metric (0–100 scale):

| High | 75–100 | Green |
| Good | 50–74 | Blue |
| Low | 25–49 | Yellow |
| Very Low | 0–24 | Red |
Body Battery is calculated from your heart rate variability (HRV), stress, sleep quality, and activity level. It tells you how much energy you have available.
Stress Level¶
Your current stress score (0–100):
- Low stress shows a calm emoji
- Medium stress shows a neutral indicator
- High stress shows an elevated indicator
Sleep Analysis¶
A visual breakdown of last night's sleep stages:
- Deep Sleep — Physical recovery phase
- Light Sleep — General rest
- REM Sleep — Mental recovery and dreaming
- Awake — Periods of wakefulness
The chart shows a stacked bar with percentage labels so you can see the proportion of each stage.
Weekly Summary¶
Your performance over the past 7 days:
- Activities — Number of workouts completed
- Total Distance — Combined distance across all activities
- Active Time — Total time spent exercising
Training Load Widget¶
Shows 9 advanced training metrics with color-coded values (green/orange/red) and tooltip explanations. Metrics include VO2max, Fitness (CTL), Fatigue (ATL), Form (TSB), A:C Ratio, Monotony, Strain, TRIMP, and Marathon Shape.

Personal Records Widget¶
Shows your top 3 personal records with trophy badges. Click View All PRs to see the full list.
Recent Activities¶
A quick preview of your most recent workouts showing:
- Activity name and type
- Date
- Distance and duration
Click View All to go to the full Activities view, or click any activity to see its details.
Quick Actions¶
At the bottom of the Dashboard, colored cards let you jump into common tasks:
- Today's Summary — Opens Chat with a pre-written prompt asking about today
- Week Comparison — Opens Chat with a weekly review prompt
- Personal Records — Opens Chat with a PR analysis prompt
First-Time Welcome¶
If you haven't connected Garmin yet, the Dashboard shows a welcome message:
"Welcome to Stridevox! Get started by connecting your Garmin account and syncing your fitness data."
Click Go to Settings to set up your Garmin connection.
Refreshing Data¶
Click the Refresh button at the top of the Dashboard to re-fetch the latest data from your cache. To pull new data from Garmin, use the sync options in Settings.
