Stats & Analytics

Visualize your training, health, and sleep data with the Stats page. Stridevox organizes your Garmin data into three tabs: Performance, Health, and Sleep.

Accessing Stats

  1. Click Stats in the navigation bar
  2. Select a tab: Performance, Health, or Sleep
  3. Charts update automatically based on the selected time period

Performance Tab

The Performance tab shows your activity-based training metrics.

Time Periods

Period Shows
Weekly Current week breakdown
Monthly Current month breakdown
Trends Activity-by-activity trends over time

Available Charts

Distance

Distance covered per activity. Track training volume over time.

Pace

Average pace per activity. Lower values = faster pace.

Heart Rate

Average heart rate per activity for intensity monitoring.

Training Effect

Garmin's 0–5 score showing workout impact on fitness.

Elevation

Total elevation gain per activity for hill training tracking.

Calories

Calories burned per activity.

Activity Count

Workouts per week — shows training consistency.

HR Zones

Time spent in each heart rate zone (Warm Up, Easy, Aerobic, Threshold, Maximum). Stacked weekly view shows intensity distribution.

Filtering by Activity Type

Use the Activity Type dropdown to focus on specific sports: All Activities, Running, Cycling, Swimming, Walking.

Health Tab

The Health tab shows daily health metrics from your Garmin device.

Available Metrics

Steps

Daily step count over time.

Body Battery

Garmin's energy level indicator showing daily highs and lows.

Stress

Daily max stress levels, color-coded by zone:

  • Green (0–25): Low stress
  • Yellow (26–50): Medium stress
  • Red (51+): High stress

HRV (Heart Rate Variability)

Nightly HRV readings with weekly average trend line. Higher values generally indicate better recovery.

Sleep Tab

The Sleep tab shows your sleep patterns and quality.

Available Metrics

Sleep Duration

Hours of sleep per night.

Sleep Score

Garmin's overall sleep quality score (0–100).

Sleep Phases

Breakdown of sleep stages: Deep, Light, REM, and Awake time.

Interacting with Charts

Charts are interactive (powered by Chart.js):

  • Hover over data points to see exact values
  • Scroll to zoom in/out
  • Click and drag to pan across the time axis

Best practices

  • Use the Health tab after rest days to monitor recovery via Body Battery and HRV
  • Compare HR Zones weekly to ensure balanced training intensity
  • Check Sleep Phases to optimize deep sleep for better recovery
  • Filter by activity type in Performance for cleaner trends
