Activities

The Activities view lets you browse, filter, compare, and share all your synced workouts. Each activity includes detailed metrics, GPS route maps, heart rate zones, splits, and more.

Browsing Activities

The main Activities view shows a list of your synced workouts, sorted by most recent. Each activity card displays:

  • Activity name and type badge (Running, Cycling, Swimming, etc.)
  • Date and time
  • Distance, duration, and calories
  • Trophy badge if the activity holds a personal record
  • Link to view the activity on Garmin Connect

Click any activity to open the detail modal with full metrics and a map.

Filtering Activities

Basic Filters

Always visible at the top:

  • Show — Limit the number displayed (Last 10, 20, 50, or 100)
  • Start Date / End Date — Filter by date range
  • Search — Text search across activity names
  • Filter count badge — Shows how many filters are active
  • Clear All — Reset all filters

Advanced Filters

Click Advanced to expand additional options:

  • Activity Types — Multi-select checkboxes (Running, Cycling, Swimming, Walking, etc.)
  • Distance Range — Minimum and maximum distance (km)
  • Pace Range — Minimum and maximum pace (min/km)
  • Elevation Range — Minimum and maximum elevation gain (m)
  • Duration Range — Minimum and maximum duration (minutes)

Activity Details

Click any activity to open a detailed modal with two tabs:

Route Map

An interactive map (powered by Leaflet.js) showing your GPS route. You can:

  • Zoom in/out with scroll or buttons
  • Pan by clicking and dragging
  • See your route drawn as a colored line

GPS data required

The map only appears for activities recorded with GPS (outdoor runs, rides, etc.). Indoor activities won't have a map.

Metrics Overview

A comprehensive breakdown organized by category:

Performance

  • Distance, Total Time, Moving Time
  • Average and Max Pace
  • Average and Max Speed

Training Impact

  • Aerobic Training Effect
  • Anaerobic Training Effect
  • Training Load
  • Performance Condition

Heart Rate

  • Average and Max Heart Rate
  • Time in each HR Zone (Warm Up, Easy, Aerobic, Threshold, Maximum)

Elevation & Environment

  • Elevation Gain and Loss
  • Temperature and weather conditions (if recorded)

Running Dynamics (for compatible Garmin devices)

  • Ground Contact Time
  • Vertical Oscillation
  • Stride Length
  • Cadence

Splits / Laps

  • Per-lap breakdown with distance, time, pace, and heart rate
  • Best lap highlighted with a badge

Comparing Activities

Compare up to 5 activities side-by-side to track your progress:

  1. Click the Compare Activities button at the top
  2. Select 2–5 activities using the checkboxes that appear
  3. Click Compare Now

The comparison view shows a table with metrics for each selected activity:

  • Distance, Duration, Average Speed, Max Speed
  • Average and Max Heart Rate
  • Elevation Gain and Loss
  • Average and Best Pace
  • Cadence
  • Training Effect

Best values are highlighted, making it easy to spot improvements.

Compare similar activities

For the most useful comparison, select activities of the same type (e.g., all 5K runs) to track your progress over time.

Sharing Activities

Share any activity via a public link:

  1. Open an activity's detail modal
  2. Click Share
  3. Configure sharing options:
    • Visibility: Unlisted (link only) or Public
    • Password (optional): Require a password to view
    • Expiration (optional): Set the link to expire after a number of days
  4. Copy the generated link and share it

Shared activities are viewable by anyone with the link — they don't need a Stridevox account.

Exporting to CSV

Export your activity list as a CSV file:

  1. Apply any desired filters
  2. Click the Export CSV button
  3. A .csv file will download with all visible activities and their metrics

This is useful for further analysis in spreadsheets or other tools.
